In July, 2008, ICA took our employees to Nha Trang, one of the 27 most beautiful bays in the world. We boarded the busses early in the morning, already excited and eager to see what adventures ICA had planned for us. Along the way we stopped to see an ostrich farm, ride ostriches, visit a crocodile farm, but just to watch, not ride. By the time we came to the lovely Nha Trang Lodge Hotel, it was time for a quick check in and a quiet nap before dinner followed by an evening full of fun, dancing, and karaoke.
The next day we took a glass-bottom boat ride to Yen Island, enjoying the beautiful coral formations and colorful fish. For many of us this was our first time to see how much life there is in the ocean.
On Yen Island we saw Monkey Village, and watched a show with performing dogs, monkeys and elephants. We took a ride around Yen Island, enjoying the beauty and fresh salty air, and saw the caves on the cliffs where they harvest the nests for the famous Bird’s Nest Soup.
The next morning we boarded the cable car for a thirteen minute ride across the bay to the Vinpearl Resort & Spa, a sparkling pearl shimmering on the crown of the Eastern Sea. When we stepped off the cable car, we felt like we had entered paradise. We knew how much ICA appreciated our work, for they had taken us to the most beautiful place in the world!
We spent the day enjoying the fabulous five star resort and the great amusement park there, and the next day we boarded the busses for home. What a wonderful way for ICA to show that we were part of the best pharmaceutical company in Viet Nam. This trip lived up to our motto: Quality without Compromise. |
